Types of chemical peels

Alpha Hydroxy Acids (AHA) such as Lactic acid are the mildest of the peel formulas and perform light to medium peels. These types of peels can provide smoother brighter looking skin for people who cant spare the downtime to recover from deeper peels

Betahydroxy Acids (BHA) such as Salicylic acid works to achieve similar results as AHAs but are particularly effective on acne prone skin.

AHA’s and BHA’s in combination such as in the Jessner peel formulation achieves a full spectrum peel that can more effectively treat more intense skin damage.

Other combination peels include Retinol with lactic acid which helps create a smoother, softer, and more youthful looking appearance by helping to enhance the skins natural rejuvenation.
